Description
“The precise guideline received from my client Dario was that it should be blonde and with the soundboard in Italian spruce. No trace of shading or burst in the finishing phase, simply blonde. That’s how I tried to make it while I was building it and while selecting the spruce and maple quartersawn boards. After all, the uniqueness of this type of finishing, completely transparent, is given exactly by the absence of colour that ends up becoming colour, among the most intense and deep for an instrument of this kind. The balance between the degree of “white” of the three types of wood, fir and marbled maple must be perfect and the harmony between the shades of colour absolutely harmonious. It is mainly for this reason, in my opinion, that making instruments with a completely transparent finishing can be particularly difficult. As for the rest, a mahogany wood binding to embellish, with discretion, the contour of the shapes. Simply, absolutely blonde“… Let’s Play
