Chitarra archtop nylon liuteria Milano
“For the TANGIER models, offered with both nylon and steel strings, the challenge consisted in adequately sizing the sound box, especially in terms of thickness, to make the spectrum and tonal depth of the instrument as broad as possible given the dimensions and the overall volume of the case is decidedly lower than a classic instrument, both with nylon and steel strings. It must be said that the instrument was essentially conceived for use in an amplified context via piezo and was developed from the outset with this in mind.
The project, for the rest, refers to the traditional construction technique of an archtop instrument. Soundboard hand-carved from solid wood with parallel bracing.
The dimensions of the nut and the neck, which you find explained in the technical data sheets of the individual instruments, were designed to provide the musician with a support that would allow him to easily range between the different genres that can be expressed both through an instrument with nylon and steel strings, without sacrificing or compromising the overall feel of a traditional neck.
The objective, which I believe achieved, was to propose an innovative instrument on a constructive and conceptual basis typical of archtop guitars with an eye, which I hope will be appreciated, to the innovative design”… Let’s Play
